Kunitaro Fukamushicha Tea is a decaffeinated green tea obtained from deep steaming Japanese green tea leaves.
In the case of normal green tea the tea leaves are steamed between ten seconds and one minute, prior to the drying process. For making Fukamushicha, the tea leaves have been steamed for a longer period of time compared to normal green tea.
This longer than usual steaming process makes the tea's taste richer and mellower than normal green tea.
This tea is also blended with Uji Matcha (green tea powder) for achieving a more vivid color and even richer taste.
Kunitaro Fukamushicha comes in powdered form for your convenience and ease of use. You will just need to mix it with hot water!
Mix a teaspoon of the powdered tea with 100ml of water.
This tea can be served hot or cold.
